A DURABLE APPROACH TO DESIGN

At ITC, we create flooring solutions that aren’t just aesthetically pleasing and easy to maintain, but that are also produced in a responsible and sustainable way. CONSCIOUSLY SELECTING YARNS
Crafting beautiful, durable carpets starts with selecting the right materials. We work hard to make the most of our resources. Selecting and developing more sustainable yarns for our carpet collections is a keystone in the bridge to a future circular economy. Although each has been developed with a different focus, they‘re all united under one quality label: YMPACT. Issued by our parent company Belysse, YMPACT ensures that your carpet is made with an eco-friendly type of yarn, putting a whole new spin on sustainability.

YMPACT MASS-BALANCE POLYAMIDE YARN
Produced in-house, this yarn is made from polyamide granules made from both virgin and recycled materials. These are mixed using a mass-balance approach, leading to granules, and eventually yarn, containing 35% allocated recycled feedstock but of the same virgin grade quality as regular yarn.
Our HAVEN range, a true sustainability hero, is crafted with this type of yarn. Easy to clean and stain resistant, with deep, rich colours that will stand the test of time. A collection created to last and last.
YMPACT 100% REGENERATED POLYAMIDE YARN
By using polyamide waste from old carpets and other nylon waste that would often just be landfill, we select a 100% regenerated polyamide yarn. The remarkable thing is it can be recycled again and again, without losing quality.
Our KATHERINE is an example of such a collection. Pure pleasure, combined with zero guilt.
YMPACT 100% RECYCLED POLYESTER YARN
This yarn is made from post-industrial plastic waste. With 100% recycled content it not only benefits the carpet industry, but the planet as a whole.

RECYCLED BACKINGS
Sustainability is not only about what you see at first sight. That’s why the backings of our carpets are made of eco-friendly, recycled materials too. To reduce both raw materials and CO2 emissions, we reclaim a product that’s usually discarded: plastic bottles. We turn them into 100% recycled polyester, which is then used for our Texfloor, Ultratex and Super Back backings.
