CARBON FOOTPRINT
We continuously strive to further reduce our carbon footprint and minimise our CO2 emissions, by selecting recycled and recyclable materials for our carpets. We are also always looking for ways to improve our production processes and transport and rely on renewable energy sources wherever we can. Our very own production facility currently provides 3266 MWh on average per year, thanks to the solar panels on its rooftops.
WATER MANAGEMENT
Water is also in the carpet industry a valuable resource, as it is essential for dyeing and printing. We are always looking for more efficient and renewable ways to use and reuse the water we need. Compared to 2019, we reduced our water consumption for dying and printing by 48%. Additionally, we recycle and reuse our wastewater and actively seek new ways to improve its quality.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
Circularity implies consciously recycling and reusing what would otherwise be wasted. Currently, we already recycle 50.6% of the waste that is generated during the production of our carpets. And we aim to do better - every year.
We understand the value of every material and product, and we are always looking for smart solutions to either prolong their life or find them another use.
